| officially drained in every sense. it's a night like this that i really wish i had a car and, forgive me for saying this, maybe didn't live in hawaii. as bob segerish or bob seger era-ish as it is to say i like the idea of nothing but space and a five speed and most definitely music. music that has a different effect when driving at night versus sitting in my apartment or walking to work in the morning. lately it seems like i haven't been able to clear my head or just hit the reset button so needless to say michigan i'm looking forward to seeing you. oh yeah maybe andy and devon if you guys are around

| I got caught in this whistling wind doing my best to regret these sins lord, would you forgive me if you knew i'm going to do it again it's not that i'm not sorry lord it's just that im not strong when that woman looks at me i can't remember right from wrong
may is here and i guess i should start making plans for leaving town. no joke i've listened to this song close to twenty times since rediscovering it on wednesday on my way back from class. I feel like in some way it carries relevance. devon i can't wait for our summer olympic extravaganza | | |
| today was a really good monday. thank you. i guess the track is a little ironic seeing as i need to be up in an hour and a half... totally worth it. | | |
| So it's finally chilly in TC. So here's the update: Still in tc, leaving next week, taking the semester off, starting up class in january, working & studying for the GRE & LSAT in the meantime, oh and also hope to get some serious time in on a surfboard. So the tenative plan is to graduate spring 09 instead of 08. Hit europe seriously in the spring and then east coast swing which i didn't do this summer in june. While it has been kind of boring staying here kind of glad i did, yesterday hit some trails on the motorcycle which reminds me that i need to get one when i'm in hawaii. i cut myself shaving. i like driving and i think i'm going to miss it, maybe more than most of my friends especially ones who take my borrowed golf clubs and have stupid girlfriends. | | |
| So being back home has been a good thing. Sentence Fragment "consider revising". These past couple of weeks have been pretty good by my standards; which i'm told have really taken a dip, my standards, that is. I also enjoy using comma's, apostrophe's, and freshman even when it's not necessary but for my sole enjoyment. Back to why these past couple of weeks have been good: seeing the best of friends, family, and being introduced to some quality music. I have also realized where I am at in my life as far as the five major life stages go and i think i'm content with where i'm at. Enough about me though. Past two weeks: four bon-fires, multiple beer purchases, flight of the conchords pilot, being outside at night an not needing a flashlight because of the awesome full-moon which for once was not one of my buddies showing off his vertical smile, numerous home-cooked meals, some pistons wins, tennis, basketball, discovering arrested development, and finally at least three quality conversations. I have a good feeling about this summer.
